Farra Marine, an Irish-owned operator of crew transfer vessels for the offshore wind industry, has raised €5 million through the Employment Investment Incentive Scheme (EIIS) to fund the construction of seven new boats by the end of 2022, doubling its fleet to 14. The company plans to raise an additional €5 million through EIIS next year to fund deposits on another seven boats, bringing its total fleet to 21, with a total investment of around €100 million. Farra Marine's clients include multinational companies such as General Electric, Siemens, and Vestas.
